Calcined Bauxite

Calcined Bauxite
Calcined bauxite is produced by sintering high-alumina bauxite at high temperatures (generally above 1,600°C) to remove moisture and volatile components. This process increases the material’s hardness, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. With its high alumina content and low impurity levels, calcined bauxite is widely used in refractory applications, abrasives, precision casting, and anti-skid road surfacing.
